Care assistant who was killed in car crash

Heidi Lynch was killed aged 28 in a car crash in Gowerton, South Wales on 26 June, 2009.

From Gowerton herself, she was an ex-pupil of both Dillwyn Llywelyn and Dwr y Felin comprehensive schools.

On leaving school, she worked for a short time in the post room at the South Wales Evening Post before moving on to work in a local veterinary surgery.

However, her love for people led her to a career as a mobile care assistant where she spent a number of years caring for people in her local community.

Her family paid tribute to her in a statement saying: "Heidi had a passion for people and was committed to caring for the local community.

"She loved to care for people and animals, and spent a number of years caring for the elderly and disabled. We are devastated by what has happened and we will miss her so much".

Your thoughts

Well done to the staff who run this site. It's very touching that there is somewhere like this to come and remember people. Keep up the good work. Andrea Corker
Many thanks for your swift response. It's so refreshing to contact a company and get both an immediate reply and, crucially, some action — WELL DONE! Barbara Witowska
Would like to say what a lovely site this is. As you can see Gareth was well loved and it's so nice that all of his friends and loved ones can leave a memory of him that will last for years. Edward Cooney
